We have some news for all our Kentucky folks. As the individual income tax decreases the taxes collected from small businesses will increase.
Kentucky has a new tax law (KRS 139.200) that will be effective January 1, 2023. The below services that we offer will be taxable in the new year at the rate of 6%:
- Website Hosting
- Local SEO
- Cloud-to-Cloud Backups
- Website Design & Development
- Marketing Services
If you are paying for any of the above services expect a new tax line item on your invoices at the start of the new year. If you are a 501(c)3 organization, please send us your tax exemption letter.
Remember this only applies to individuals and businesses within Kentucky.
