What is happening?
On August 29th your server, is scheduled for a physical relocation to a new state-of-the-art data center facility, part of the NTT Global Data Centers. The move will take place overnight, beginning at 9:00 PM EST and should be completed by 2:00AM EST.
Rest assured; our team is making every effort to minimize disruption to your service. And your server will be closely monitored throughout the transition until connectivity is fully restored.
Why is this happening?
Dedicated Web Design is committed to continuously enhancing our customers' experience. The new, modern data center will improve your server's performance and your overall business operations. This facility offers numerous benefits, including faster uplink speeds, advanced network switches, newer power distribution units (PDUs), superior reliability, and other world-class improvements designed to provide you with an optimal hosting environment.
What can I expect?
During the move, you can expect approximately 2-4 hours of downtime. We expect that most customers will experience less downtime than anticipated.
Please be aware that emails cannot be delivered during the migration and will be retried and delivered once the server comes back online.
Due to the complexities and overall logistics in transporting these servers, we are not able to honor requests for specific move dates or times.
No action is required by you, and we expect no changes will be needed to any IP addresses or networking configurations.
